Courtney Hohl has been working in the real-estate business since 2012.  She has spent the majority of that time focusing on the luxury home market and over the last few years she has garnered the experience of investments for long and short term holds in the Central Austin Area as well as commercial acquisitions and development.
Prior to getting into real estate Courtney started her career in the corporate sector managing External Affairs to encompass both public relations and legislative activities for the State of Texas.  Her relationships in the legislative arena is what incentivized her to work a session at the Texas Capitol.   Through the combination of working both sides of legislation she gained the knowledge of the legislative process, negotiating and positioning herself within a very competitive environment.
She was approached by Tito of Tito’s Vodka to help him grow his business in 2007.  A complete industry change came with its challenges but inevitably allowed Courtney to gain experience on how to leverage contracted distribution employees to increase business and expand brand recognition.  This is where she gained the knowledge of the effectiveness of grass roots marketing.
Courtney decided to get back into technology because of the growth and advancement opportunities.  Her relationships in telecom are what lead her to work for the start-up, Clearwire.  While there she was a top performer and selected to be part of the New Markets Launch Team, specifically New York City.  She took a declining national retail channel from 51% of attainment to over 250%.  Clearwire offices closed and the company was ultimately acquired by Sprint in 2013.
At this time, she was approached to be a consultant at Let’s Gel Inc. to determine the small retail channel viability.  She was involved in the overall profit and loss strategies, creating different products for each market segment and how to drive business and if additional resources would increase revenue in the channel.
Shortly after LGI she was hired by Google to manage three markets driving sales in Google products specifically, Google Offers.  Once again a top performer, she was awarded the Top Gun Award for performance and attainment of over 150%.  The department was relocated to CA and NY at which time she opted to stay in Austin and get into real-estate.  The rest they say is history!
